You've been waiting two years

We've been pretty busy here. Obviously if I haven't posted in TWO YEARS! There's a lot to catch up on.

Addy is 3 now and just full of it. She started preschool this falls and absolutely loves going. She gets the ride the bus, which she thinks is pretty cool.

She is forming her independence, identity and watching her grow is an amazing experience. She's a good kid but I wish someone would've warned us about the age of 3. Everyone tells you about the terrible 2's well sometimes these 3's are
worse. Either way we wouldn't trade her for anything.

We did make it out to Oregon in September. I have been before but Clint hadn't. We were going for a football game in Eugene. We drove and stayed in a timeshare in Bend, and figured we were so close to the ocean that we might as well go there too. So we drove to the coast. I've never been to the ocean so instantly I was in love. We didn't get to spend a whole lot of time as we got held up in a car accident. But at least we made it there safe. Addy loved the beach and we played until it got dark. I even got up early and went scouting for sea shells. I wanted to find one whole sand dollar. It wasn't looking too promising because the dumb seagulls just attack everything. I finally found one clear out by the water as we were turning back to leave. We went from Florence back to Eugene to catch the football game. I love Oregon and I could move there tomorrow if life allowed.

The question comes up a lot about when we are going to have more kids. Well the answer is that simple. See we've been trying for over a year. We finally went in to get help in October. It's been one hell of a month but we think we might know why. Everything went fine for Clint, but for some reason everything looks good for me except for the fact that my body won't release any eggs. But anyway I have a more detailed story at my infertility blog "Going for 2" you can check that for my updates.
Usually I'm me getting my frustrations out. I'm too stressed and have to try writing therapy to help me get rid of it.

Anyway that's pretty much been our life lately. Nothing too exciting but we're moving on up.

It has been too long since I've last posted, I can't remember the last time. Addy has just been getting too big for my liking. I miss my sleepy little newborn, who used to sleep on me at nap time and wherever she needed. Now she's this almost 1 year old who won't sleep unless its in one of her "beds" or carseat. She is up and going from the time she wakes up til the time she crashes for nap time. She's growing and learning so much everyday, we are just amazed at how quick she picks up on everything. Now she's learned to shake her head for yes and no, she feeds herself, and is a crawling beast. No "real" walking yet, she cruises all around the living room while holding on the stuff. She takes about 5 or 6 steps then falls down. I can't believe in a month and a half I'm going to be the mother of a 1 year old.

We are lucky enough to have a good friend for a photographer, even though we have to drive 3 1/2 hours to see her. It's worth it to get her to do out pictures and hang with us. We can't wait to go back down and celebrate Addy's 1st birthday. We got a Hotel room booked at the Peery Hotel and are going to the Zoo. I feel like I'm starting out too big and I'll feel like I'll have to go bigger and better every year. But I guess when she's turning 16 and I've done all I can think of, all that will be left is a trip to the moon.
I just love my little cheeser to pieces. It's been hard the last month or so cause I'm back to working 7 days a week. I work at the pharmacy 5 days a week and I'm at the firework stand on the weekends. I need to money though to pay off our substantial hospital debt. Between Addy and Clint's surgery in May we need all the extra income we can get. The hospital is really great and it working with us plus with Addy we didn't have Maturnity coverage and they only covered anything when it turned into an emergency c-section. Atleast now we have decent insurance we're just having to fight with them over more information from the doctors. I don't mind though cause it was really easy to get the info I needed its harder to get it to the insurance people and get them to pay for things.

Well that pretty much sums up whats been going on for us. I'll have more to post here soon as we are so busy and We've done a few fun things lately, just too much to put in one post, Peace!

Time to catch up

It has been so long I can't even remember when my last post was, pretty sad. Since my last post Addy has been growing and developing like crazy. She's 8 months old now and is into everything. She wants to do everything you're doing, eating everything you eat, and drink whatever you're having. She's a ton of fun and is so cute when she gives you a big grin and shows you all her teeth, yes teeth, she has eight of them.

Here's our little happy girl showing us her grin and crawling skills. She started crawling about two weeks ago. Since then she has been all over the place. Trying to get into anything she can find. She has been climbing on us and standing on her own. She's so close to walking it's scary. We are finally getting around to "baby proofing" we put it off for far too long.

Addy has also had her first Easter. She got a big bunny and chair from Grandma and Grandpa West, and got her a basket of sand play toys so when summer comes she can have all sorts of fun playing outside in the sand and dirt.

She was right in the middle of telling us some sort of story. She talks a lot and is becoming quite the ham. Anytime she see a camera now she puts on a show. She's just so happy and fun, we love her so much. We don't have any statistics on her she has an appointment in less than a month.

Adeline's 1st Christmas

This year I had this gift help me open my presents. Addy had her 1st Christmas, and we had the best Christmas ever! Even though she had no idea what was happening, we sure had fun. She was spoiled, probably spent more than we should've but oh well your baby only had one 1st Christmas.

We had breakfast at my parents house and then everyone came to our house to have dinner. Clint's parents, my parents, and grand parents came over to watch Addy eat wrapping paper and not care about what was in those carefully wrapped packages. She plays with her toys now but the day of she didn't care.

Clint and I got a "baby bullet" for Christmas from my parents. Our first go round with home made baby food was zuchinni, Addy was not a fan. If you coudln't tell. Since then I've made Apples, Sweet Potatoes, Peas, Avocados, and banana purees. Adeline likes them all, I haven't made her eat Zuchinni since the first time I felt bad after she kept gaggling and making faces. She does love her oatmeal and rice cereals too.

Catching up

So hopefully no one read and seriously thought that I might be able to keep up with this blog once a week. Well here it is almost Christmas and I haven't blogged in quite awhile. Babies have a way of sucking up most of your time. Oh well. Anyway there's been a few Addystones so mention, first off she has now gotten two teeth.

I noticed these beasts on Thanksgiving she was 3 1/2 months old. Everyone keeps saying "Isn't she too young to have teeth?" Well obviously not there's two right there and here's your proof.

This is super serious talk to toys time. She really give thems a thorough talking to.

So Christmas came a little early, what of it? We got her this as part of her Christmas, she loves it. I had to put it together when I had the time or it never would have gotten done. As with anything new your have to slowly introduce it to Addy, we had to do the same with the high chair. Now she'll sit and play forever.
We've graduated to Rice Cereal! She loves it, probably too much. She's always wanting more when it's all gone. She just had her 4 month old checkup and it's doing very well. She's 14 lb 5 oz and 25 and 3/4 inches long. She's rolling over and practically sitting up on her own. We realized that we better hurry up and get the house "baby proofed" or she'll be into everything before we know it.

Christmas is in a couple of days and I hope to have another updated post about those happenings.

Addy's first laugh

Addy decieded to let us hear her sweet little laugh for the first time last night. We were giving her a bath and playing with her and her duck. At first we weren't really sure what we heard and then she did it again. It was definitly a laugh, Clint ran and got the camera. Luckily she laughed a couple more times so we were able to catch it on camera. I tried to upload the video on here but it won't let me. Guess I'll have to work on it and try to get it on here.

Happy 3 Month Birthday Adeline Grace!!

Today marks Addy's 3 month birthday! Too bad she had to go in for a check-up with the doctor. At least she didn't have to get shots this time, she just hates getting down to nothing but a diaper. Everything went good, she's grown another inch and gained almost another pound. She's slowed down in the weight gaining department and traded it for the getting tall. Doctor said she's looking great and she's developing wonderfully.

I took this picture of us today and when I looked at it I laughed so hard. She is getting pretty good at making the funniest faces and you always know what she is thinking, by the way she uses her eyebrows.

We are so proud of our snugga bug. We couldn't have asked for a better baby. She's been sleeping through the night for the past couple of weeks. Even when she didn't she only woke up once to eat. She's so alert and wants to take everything she possibly can. It doesn't help with naps, she doesn't want to cause she's afraid something will happen if she naps.

We bought this outfit over a month ago it's 6-9 months so it's huge on her, but the jeans are so cute I couldn't help having her wear them today. She still fits into most of her 0-3 month clothing but in her pj's her feet are too long for the feetie pj's. We might have to move up a size so her feet have more room. She's also discovered her hands. She always has them in her mouth and then puts her slobbery little hands all over me. She's also working on rolling from her back to her right side. She can do it if she starts on her belly, but she doesn't find it as fun as starting on her back and trying to go to tummy. She also likes it if you grab her hands and pull her to a sitting position. Apparently it's great fun, we always get big smiles for that. Anyway, that's Addy's update for now. I'm gonna try to do little updates every week just so I can document her changes and happenings as they happen so I don't forget anything.
